We recommend calling ahead for deep dish orders since they take 40–50 minutes to bake.

Reservations are not required, but they are highly recommended — especially on weekends and evenings when we get very busy. Walk-ins are always welcome, but expect a wait during peak hours.

Pequod's pizza is world-famous for its caramelized crust — a signature technique where cheese is pressed along the outer edge of the cast-iron pan so it bakes directly against the sides, creating a darkened, crispy, slightly charred crust that's unlike anything else in Chicago.

Beyond the crust, we use premium whole-milk mozzarella, hand-crushed vine tomatoes layered on top, and fresh ingredients sourced locally. Every pequods pizza is made to order and baked in our seasoned cast-iron pans.

Our deep dish pizzas take 40–50 minutes to bake from scratch — that's what makes them so special. We never pre-bake or rush our pies.

If you're dining in, we recommend ordering your pizza immediately when you sit down and enjoying a drink and appetizer while it bakes. For takeout, calling ahead is strongly encouraged so your pizza is fresh and ready when you arrive.

We offer three sizes for our signature deep dish:

• Small (9"): Serves 1–2 people. Perfect for a personal meal.
• Medium (12"): Serves 2–3 people. Our most popular size.
• Large (14"): Serves 4–5 people. Ideal for families or groups.

Yes, we deliver! Our delivery radius covers 5 miles from our Chicago location at 2207 N Clybourn Ave. This includes Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Bucktown, Wicker Park, and surrounding neighborhoods.

Due to the nature of our handcrafted deep dish pizzas (40–50 min bake time), total delivery time is typically 60–80 minutes from the time of ordering.

Thin-crust and non-pizza items are faster — expect 35–50 minutes for those. During peak hours (Friday & Saturday evenings), wait times may be slightly longer. We'll always give you an accurate estimated time when you order.

Yes, the minimum order for delivery is $20. A delivery fee of $3.99 applies to all delivery orders within our standard radius. Orders over $50 qualify for free delivery.
